i just got a new in box 800sbt, and i have to say that this is perfect!

some things to note about the awesomeness:

1. sweet ass metal balisong discs in the handles! little things like that are such a great finishing touch on a benchmade.

2.steel thread inserts for the handle screws are perfectly flush with the g10, and the handle screws use all of the threads in those inserts, another great example of attention to detail

3. just great fit and finish! now this is something that has lived on for sure, even in todays benchmades

and on another note, i have a spare new in box on the way!

i just got a strider smf, and i love it, but everything is gonna take a back seat to the afck for a bit. unless i am doing something REALLY stupid(in which case i will use the smf), then i will be rolling with the afck.

i will get some pics up shortly, and also ecourage others to embark on an AFCK carrying spree, and to post their reviews here as well.

whether you have an axis lock or liner lock, RIDE DIRTY WITH THE AFCK!
and post some reviews to keep the afck alive and well.

One of my all-time favorites. I still carry mine every now and then, usually with an 812.

Congrats!

I also carry an 800 regularly. The 800 is a good, solid design IMO.

Good knife. Just got mine back from LifeSharp and it slices and dices like a razor would in real life.

The 800 is as much as the 710 the knives that made Benchmade what it is. And there's not much to be done to improve on these two either.

Congrats guys, on getting yours!

a few other things i noticed today is the fact that an 800 is very light due to titanium liners, whereas the axis lock models are a bit heavier. i big plus for carry.

also, the jimping on the blade spine is, to me, the best thatbenchmade has ever done!
