I have had a Tom Krein custom (Ultimate Caper)in M4 for a couple years and it is my favorite steel. It gets screaming sharp faster than any other steel I have tried, and I have used almost all of them. It isn't the most corrosion resistant steel, but as long as you wipe it down it rewards you with tremendous sharpness and great edge retention (up there with ZDP-189 in my experience). I can't wait to get my 760 and get it reground and reprofiled by Tom Krein to make it thinner and a better cutter.
