A few months ago I grabbed a 913 from a fellow forum member, EDC(ed) it since I got it, and figured it would be an appropriate time to write a review. To start this folder is light and built to last. D2 Blade, G-10 handle with fairly thick Ti liners, and w/ assisted opening. I was never a big fan of AO but this knife changed that. I heard so much about its older model the 910 and figured since I couldn't find a 910 this would be the next best thing to experience a knife that other forum members rave about. I used it daily to cut wire, mail, boxes, strapping on bundles of conduit and the edge just kept going. D2 is excellent for everyday use due to its great edge rendition, the scales are "grippy" similar to a Grip, and the AO fires as fast as my 9100. The Ti makes the lock and the AO, I feel like it will last considerable longer and reduces the weight. This knife is a winner in my book but my advise is to have a pro sharpen it cause D2 is a pain in the ass to sharpen. Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #3 | ||

Nice review and same opine regarding D2, it is a pain to sharpen. Every time I use my 913 I give it a few strokes on the sticks, if I let it go beyond that I send it up to LifeSharp. The 913 is a terrific knife. 350, 520, 525BK-1101, 530, 580-1102, 580 Proto, 583-1, 585-1, 710-1, 710-2, 710D2, 710HS, 722, 732, 740, 740 Proto, 741, 745, 746, 746-1201, 750, 790, 800, 800HS, 805-1101, 810, 812, 830, 831, 835HS, 840, 845, 890, 905, 907D2, 910, 910SCG, 912D2, 913D2, 12400 Proto, 12410, 14205, 14210, 40022-100.
