Ah, cutter, you know my weakness. Well, I'm thinking I'll spring for one, it looks too good to pass up. Of course, that means I need to see how much change I've collected in the past year...

Anybody have any suggestions for tan vs black? I tend to prefer black, but I'm wondering if there's a good argument to choose tan. I know it's mostly personal choice, but anybody care to say why they chose which color?

Personally i went with the tan. Almost every knife available is normally black. It gets boring so i went with the tan for sake of not owning 10 billion black knives lol.

Howlrunner. I got the tan combo blade back before Christmas and had planned to get one of each anyway. I like the tan grips and I think they start out as black grips, then are Cerakoted tan. The color is a darker tan and I think it looks really good. The black 275's, while joining the long line of all black knives, looks good also. There is something about it though that looks right with it being all black, and I believe I like it better than the tan.

I don't think you will go wrong with either color.

Thanks for the input, timmy and cutter.

The tan looks good, but I think I'll probably go with the black. I like that look of the G10. I've got another G10 knife from CRKT, but the 275 just looks better.

I'll probably be placing an order within the next month. Hopefully gpknives doesn't go out of stock on them. That's the cheapest place I can find the 275BK, anyone know otherwise?

My wife came in with a wrapped box in her lunch bag - for me! I thought it was a bit early for the mint GS cookies - and the box looked small. Nope - it was a 275BK. Nothing special... no birthday - too early for Valentines (We don't exchange gifts for that.). She said it was just because she loves me - wow!

Oh yeah, super knife!! Sharp, too.

Thanks, Dingo, that is the same knife - black G10 - black plain blade - great blade in a fantastic handle.

Stainz

PS My choice was easy - my local shop previously had just the serrated tan handled 275's - until last week, when the black plain came in. My wife knows I don't care for serrated blades - thank goodness!

Stainz, you are one blessed fella'. Your wife sounds to good to be true! I don't guess you need to hear that she is a keeper, cause you already know that. Smiler

My 275BK is one of three knives in my current rotation, and I really like it and pick it more often than the other's.

Are you carrying the Adamas? If so how do think it rides in the pocket? I took the deep carry clip it came with and made it deeper carry so that the entire knife rides down inside my pocket. This is how I have done all my edc's. Out of sight; out of mind.

Pic of my current edc rotation;

Well, I got my 275BK two days ago and love it. So far I'm really liking the deep-carry. I'd be afraid to bend the clip any further. What'd you do to yours, cutter?

Also, does anybody know how the Malice clip is supposed to work with the sheath?

I have a hand held butane torch that I use on all my clips. Just heat them up till the area I'm bending turns a cherry red, with some yellow mixed in. Then I bend a little, reheat, bend some more, reheat, and continue to bend until I get it where I want it.Every edc I have has a deep carry clip on it.

Had a feeling you would love it once you had it in hand!

If you'll look at the pic in my above post, you can see how this clip goes all the way to the top of the handle. I also shortened the clip, rounded off the end, rebent it to give myself a finger tab so that I can easily slip it into my pocket. All this allows the knife to sit all the way inside my pocket which is what I want.

Btw, this is not the original BM clip. It is a deep carry from www.usaknifemaker.com
