Just got my small bone today, and it is pretty cool. I really like the scales, but I would say right now I prefer the bade shape of the 525. Only had it in my hands for a few mins but I am liking it so far.

Play with it for a bit before deciding Trevor. I like the looks of the 525 too, but the D2 blade on the Bone really slices through stuff.

So do I! It's quite an intricate finish that even makes the Rift feel "smooth", lol. I tried to capture the texture in the following pic so everyone can see what I mean:

Thanks for the picture.

Mine is still 6 to 8 weeks away before the dealer gets the knife. So I have been waiting more then six months for my 15020-1. DAMN longest I have ever waited.

Nice review!

I love the scales on the Bone Collector models, many have seen the 520 Hybrid I have, but also the mini may be even a better bargain...small in size it's got the same grippy yet comfortable to hold G-10 in a smaller, easier to carry size.

And man does that D2 blade slice!

Got my 15020-1 from my yuppee sporting goods store across town. Good deal on the large two-tone. Great hand fit/feel - especially with that easily removed clip in the poly bag, nylon bag, and box. Great QC - even on the blade's edge - consistently sharp edge from end to end. Seems to be a bargain, for sure, nowadays. I blame it on you guys... you had to yack about it, causing me to go look... and I couldn't leave it there.

The bargain price paid soon faded - I took my wife for her favorite lunch. Then - pay back - I had to go to the fairly new 'JoAnn' hobby/craft store - and stand in line to get material cut - then paid for. I felt cheated... knives and guns are hobby items - and the had none! She really got me - $25 lunch - $74 material - being seen in a girlie-man store: priceless!

Stainz

PS The knife was worth it!

Lol! But the knife is a great deal. Is it because of the D2 steel...? I'm still trying to figure out why the Rift goes for $30 more (list)... :-/
