Benchmade actually did make a limited run of G-10 handled 585's. Numbered to 250, they were made for the 2010 SHOT show with the model designation 585-1. Smiler

In theory they should be easier to find than the 580-1102 (since there were only 50 of them made)

Good to know, thanks Carson. I'll definitely keep my eye out. As much as I like the 580-1102 it would be nice to have a smaller option for my edc.

+1...the 585-1 is a GREAT smaller knife!

Yes, I swapped a 585BK blade into my 585-1 handle, and it is in my top five all time favorite Benchmades, prolly tied with the 525 for most cutting power in the smallest package in the Benchmade line.

The videos are well done and to the point. I like them a lot.

Many guys post a few videos, advertise their site and are never heard from again. I hope you won’t be one of them.

Thanks for watching. I plan on sticking around and keeping the site going as long as I can. I'm also looking to review way more Benchmades...
