Well guys I mailed my 710 off to benchmade today.. Reason is my blade was hitting the inside of the backspacer and causing a mark on the inside of the spacer.. Spoke with a Nolan that works with Benchmade Customer service and got sqaured away, when I went to ask him how much it would cost to send my knife in and put barrel spacers on it he said..nothing just send it in with 5 dollars to mail it back to you and we will get you taken care of... WOW talk about Class A Customer service!! I figured while the 710 was there it wouldnt hurt to go to lifesharp as well.. Smiler I think Benchmade has another customer for life.. Thanks Benchmade.. Black Class

Sounds good, I look forward to the pics as well. Be interesting to see what the turnaround is right now.

Just a reminder to all: If you send one of yours to LifeSharp don't send the thing in the original box. Just wrap it in bubble wrap or something, don't even send the satin bag. The knife will come back, usually via FedEx, in a gray 'repair' box.

Good call. Another point...if your knife is NIB and comes out of the bag any way other than tight and centered, not hitting the factory spacer or anything, you might give Nolan or the other team folks a call.

In more than one case I sent the knife up out of my pocket and wasn't asked for the $5 return shipping (I always pay it as a courtesy in hopes this service will never change) just made a copy of the USPS shipping receipt and mailed it up separately. Got the knives back and was followed by a check shortly afterwards.

Don't assume anything though, give them a call first.

Those barrel spacers look phenomenal. I'm thinking about adding those to a few of my BM.s. They must decrease pocket lint/debris that catches at the back of thge spacer when it's enclosed? Makes cleaning easier? Nice knife. Great PIC Now if we could get them to do that standard and change the newer crappy pocket clip, most of the f+f issues would disappear.
