Liking your reviews Dingo, and they are very well presented! Those liners are .080" thick, whereas the liners on the other knife looked to be .050" to .060" in thickness. That thicker steel liner of the 275 really stiffens up the handle. Blade thickness is actually .160". I measured the lockbar using my digital micrometer, and got a thickness of .184, which is almost 3/16" (.187). Pretty thick I would say! Just guessing, the other lockbar was probably somewhere between .150" to .160" in thickness, or 5/32" (.156"). So yeah, I believe BM beefed up this knife and intends it to be a heavy duty folding knife, and I am very happy to see that! Would love to see some more. ------------------------------------------------- BENCHMADES; -275SBKSN Adamas, 275BK Adamas, 275BKSN Adamas, 9051AFO II, 9051BK AFO II, 950 Auto Axis, 15020-1 Bone Collector folder, 810 Contego, Bradley Mayhem (made by BM) CUSTOMS; JW Smith SD-3 Black G-10, JW Smith SD-3 Lightning Strike CF, Mike Irie Model 11, Dustin Turpin Repentance, Bob Dozier Workhorse folder, Bob Dozier KM-20 fixed blade, Eddie White Model 12 fixed blade. Cutter, I pulled out my dial caliper to compare your thicknesses to those of one of the toughest knives I own, the ZT 0200. The Adamas thicknesses were greater. ZT liner: 0.075 Adamas liner: 0.080 ZT blade: 0.155 Adamas blade: 0.160 Here's one for you to come back on: ZT Weight: 7.9 oz Adamas Weight: ? ********************** ********************** You are the Sum of Your Actions. ZT 200 is a hard knife to beat... realistically both knives should be impossible to break under all but the most extreme circumstances. I have the Admas and not the ZT, but I've owned the ZT in the past and my impression of it was extremely favorable. 154CM is definitly a big plus over D2 for sharpenability in the field, BUT the Adamas should hold an edge longer and it's more friendly to carry on a day to day basis. The G10 on the ZT ripped up my pockets like no tomorrow. -Dingo- (\_/) (x.X) (> <) Zombunneh Catch me on YouTube: www.youtube.com/PRSPl4yer Check out my Blog: WillMoonCustomKnives.blogspot.com Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #12800

Cool! They are quite comparable. The Adamas must be one tough hombre. Ha! I know what you mean. It's so rough you could use it for a wood rasp. ********************** ********************** You are the Sum of Your Actions. Knife Rights Member
