Naw, it was too cold for camera batteries! Great weekend though and no crowds Wink but single digit night temps tend to do that Big Grin

And most of us can remember the big stink about BM coating the G10 in OD green. I think we all thought it was a compromise in the quality of the knife. However, I have YET to see the SLIGHTEST scuff or scratch on this stuff, I think it is A+!!! Here is a pic to proove it!

I did, for sure. I'm amazed and very pleasantly surprised by your results. Awesome write-up, by the way! Blue Class

Thanks for those great pics I loved it!

For a guy who is into 710's this was great.
I didn't know this knife came in anything other than D2.
But it sounds like that was limited?

I'm still learning about the different steels and have not formed my own opinion yet so it's great to read others experiences.

What ATS-34 knife were you referring to? I have not tried M4 yet, but if it's easier to sharpen, and holds a better edge than ATS-34 I may have to give it a try.

My ATS-34 is a AG Russel One Handed knife. It's a 30 dollar knife, but it takes a screaming edge, and gets sharp faster than anything else I own! Smiler

I sharpen it on a Spyderco Double Stuff.

Great and yes, an important followup review, thanks Cool

Makes me feel better about my M4 blade as I don't have the experience (nor tools) to sharpen knives myself so I have to "outsource" it...

p.s. M4 is not a stainless steel, correct?
