Looking to add another benchmade to my collection. I currently have a 943, and a 9050 auto. Local dealer closed a couple months ago, so it is very hard to see the knives I am intersted in person. Looking online at 746, curious if it will open as fast as my 943. Really like the 950 rift and would love to find 615. Can only afford one, which one would you go for.

Welcome to the Forums. Of those mentioned, the 950 is my pick. It's just a great knife.

welcome dl1340!

You've got a good start of a collection! I like the Lum knives (746 among them), but it really doesn't compare to the 943 so far as opening and carrying goes. I can not recommend the 950 Rift highly enough. The 615's are great, but they've been out of production for a few years now and are increasingly more difficult to find (as well as going up in price). No matter what you go for, we'd like to see it when you get it Smiler

Rift .....of the ones mentioned
I,d get a 806 LE from knifeworks or a 525 LE from the same place.
They come in great blade steels.

Welcome to the forums. The 950 would be easier to find, cheaper and carries easier than the 615.As was stated the 615 has been discontinued.Prob one of my all time fav Benchmade.I carry my 950 way more however. great blade shape and nice to carry,(for a bigger knife)still can find in assorted configs, blk scales blk blades pln edge, satin finish, serrated, they also come in an auto,9555.Cant go wrong w/ any of these pics, let us know.

615 was my favorite Benchmade for a long time, until the 581 came out. I agree with those who say the 950 carries nicer though...

But dj is right, if you can only get one Benchmade right now, get one of those M390 806-1101 LEs. If you don't like it now, you will once you get it.

Welcome to the forums dl1340. Of the models you mentioned I would try and find a 615 it is a great knife. But I agree with Po and DJ, check out the new 806-1101 LE and order one of those while they still some available.

Can someone tell me if the 806-1101 will be a black blade or silver blade. Can some post a pic of the 806bk-110. I called knife works and the lady couldn't tell me if the blade is black or silver. I would assume black, for the bk in the model number
