Seems, that the 805 has always been in the shadow of the 806.
But, You are right:

For sure the 805 is very good working knife with such a wonderful handle, but the 710 is more compact and very light(specially with Al handles), that's why it's my favorite EDC knife too =)

Probably it could be a good idea to order one more limited edition with CF and M390(for example) =)

Thank You very much!

I think the 805 would be a great platform for a Gold Class knife. They brought back the 612 for a Gold Class why not the 805?

Haha I know man, I'm just joking. There's been all this talk of people wanting to see Les drop by the forum and I was gonna see if I could mess with Jedi :P

Interesting they used the early numbering system. They did that here with early 710 runs causing a bit of anger when buyers thought they were getting 1 of...Thanks for the info Rx.

Joe, it's all about the way this order was made. Identical etch on all blades equals less money. I followed the discussion on guns.ru about this knife from the very beginning and both options were offered. Individually numbered blades were priced few dollars higher and majority ruled to go with identical etch.

PS I was supposed to get two of them, but then found out that it's against Russian laws to export any kind of knives out of the country by regular mail, without special permit. The only way for me to get them would have been for somebody who is visiting the country to pick them up over there and put it in their luggage on the way back. Frowner
