Do you think the wilkins scales are that much better than the OTHER German scales, are they worth 40% more?? they all look great..

No, the price difference is not justified. Plus I like dealing directly with the manufacturer, it is really a custom job. Right now I am having CF scales made for a Paramilitary, with some modifications to the original Spyderco design to try to make the handle a little shorter.
Anyway, I will not be buying Wilkins scales from Gary Moore anymore, the last set, he sold them as new but they had been installed on another knife previously, the guy said I could return them in exchange for a set in anodized aluminum but when I contacted him to know if I could go ahead and return them he never answered my e-mail.

where are the cf scales from? The only ones I've been able to find are the Wilkens scales, wich are beautiful but I can't justify the money. I found another website but it's all in german and I haven't figured that out yet.
