Many thanks to those who participated in taking my money so I could collect these knives.

Quick ? if ya don't mind, how glossy is the blade on those 770s compared to the 771-01?

Reason I ask is I just got a 770BC1 and the blade isn't glossy like my 771-01, its more of a flat finish. Its not dark like a BT blade, but not like my other BC1s. Box is clearly labeled 770BC1.

There is also a 770SBC1. I just saw it the other day when I was looking at some William Henrys. I also never knew the 770 series came in a CE, now I see two in a week.

I don't have the 771-01 in the plain blade version so I can't compare it to my 770.

I will offer this if it helps at all. I put the plain version 770, 771, and 773 side by side and cannot notice any notable differences in blade finish.

However, it seems the BC1 versions are not as consistent in finish and I can notice a difference in the finish on at least 2 I compared a few minutes ago. Different shades.

Haha. I was gonna say I wasn't gonna bid, but it's definitely possible. I tell myself I will not now, but I might be in denial.

Now if a 771-01 plain version ever comes for sale (hint hint RxEnergy) then I will bid for sure.

Thanks. I messed up my description, I have a 771 BC1-01. The finish is very different on it vs. my 770BC1. The 770 isn't glossy at all, but its not a flat finish like the BK/BT knives. Sounds like I gotta a fluke...but it actually suits the Carbon Fiber better.
