I had always heard people talk about the 806 and never understood what all the hype was about, well I recently completed a trade which allowed me to add a 806SBK-901 to my collection (thanks Pascal! Big Grin ) My first impressions when taking the 806 out of its limited box and a baggie, my thoughts were WOW this blade is alot bigger than I expected it to be.. I cleaned the blade with some Breakfree CLP and lubed the pivot (always do this with new knifes) and worked the CLP in the pivot and could not believe how smooth deployment was on this beast.. Deployment on the 806 from a 1-10 is a 10 in my book, its butter smooth.. The Clip Point Blade Shape is very nice and can come in handy in several differnt types of situations and the M4 steel is a BIG + the handles remedy the 800 AFCK and melt in my hand and feeling like a natual extention in my hand. The Clip is a old school pakerized clip (I like them the best anyways) and when carried in my pocket the 806 rides very nice. I did some searching on some info of this blade and did not know this knife has a story behind it. From what information I gathered the 806-901 in M4 steel was made after several requests from people from this forum (The Main Man being Mark G ) and then benchmade answered the requests with 250 806-901 and 250 806sbk-901. After reading this information and all the heated controversy is stirred up, it makes the 806-901 a little more special to me.. All in All I am really diggin my new 806-901 I give this blade a overall 10 it is just down right HAWT and I can already tell its going to see alot of pocket time in the future..

Nice review Travis, I can't seem to get to one of my 806's yet as I can't seem to not carry my 710-801 Wink Big Grin
