I already posted this review on BF but really thought I would share this review with all my buds over here on BM Forums as well.. Hope you all enjoy!! Big Grin

I Just recieved this little blade in the mail today on a trade, and my first impressions of this blade is that its alot smaller than what I had thought it was going to be.. The craftsmanship of the blade is very nice and compact making it very easy to carry.. The blade is from the SNODY series line of Benchmades and this is a blue class knife and I believe to my knowledge it has been discontinued.. The top of the blade has very nice Jimping on the top allowing for a secure hold when useing the knife.. Blade material is S30V, I believe the outdoors variation of this blade comes in D2.. The knife's scales are Silver G10 and Carbon Fiber giving it a very cutting edge and durable look.. The blade comes with two sheaths one being a Kydex Sheath and the other a leather Sheath, I have been wearing it around the house so far the blades retention inside the Kydex Sheath is very good... blade length is 2.1 inches while the blade thickness .14 inches. Someone correct me if I am wrong but from what I have gathered about this little blade is that the hardness is 58-60 HRC. Blade Style is a Drop Point Blade Shape. Making it excellent for hunting purposes, skinning fish... over all legth is 5 1/2 inches... I will update this review upon further use and evaluation of the blade and look forward to carrying it.. I highly recommed owning a blade This size in a fixed blade category while quite small I feel that it is going to be a very useful size blade...

I bought a 210 and liked it well enough that I bought a 211 and my older son bought one of the last 210s from NGK. His came only with the (IMO) goofy leather sheath. We found a dealer selling the kydex sheaths for a steep discount and bought several of them to outfit his 210, my 211 and possible future purchases.

It's a great and very convenient knife that can do some very heavy duty cutting and doesn't freak out NKP.

PUN, I personally prefer the kydex over the leather, I have looped paracord through the holes of the kydex sheath into a necklace type carry system and wear it around my neck under my shirt, I Love it... My new EDC carry blade

UPDATE: After carrying this blade for a few weeks and adjusting the kydex sheath , I have found the retention in the kydex to be just right.. I have read where some people have had problems with the blade falling out of the kydex sheath when carrying it handle down and tip up in the kydex.. I not experienced any problems with the blade falling out so far, I used some paracord to loop in between the holes in the kydex sheath so I could wear it as a necklace underneath my shirt. The leather sheath it came with I dont not care to much for and like the Kydex sheath much better.. I have skinned a few fish with it so far and performed flawlessly, as well as cutting some fruits and vege's in the kitchen.. The S30V steel is easy to sharpen and holds a good edge... Overall I really like the size of the blade, the one thing I only have to complain about the blade is its weight, after you carry it around your neck for a while you become use to it..
