Hey guys im new member to the forum, but have been a reader for a long time. I have been selling most of my knives in hopes of replaceing many, with just one. At first the sebenza seemed to be the one. But then after some time of looking I dont know anymore. The knives im looking at are The Sebenza, the sng, and the Umnumzaan for EDC. I know that one knife may not be the best way to go, but I realy want to test and use the one I select for a long time, and with a difrent knife in my pocket weekly its hard to do that. I know that all of the knives would last me a life time. But what are some + and - of all of them. On that note does anybody make a tool to break down the Umnumzaan yet. Sory for the poor spelling no time for spell check, in a rush. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Kevin,

All those are great knives, but I don't read Benchmade anywhere among them.

Different opines will surface here, but if you had a choice of only one Benchmade, a regular production 710D2 would do it for me after using them for awhile.

That's my vote, but then again, there's the HK14205 and the 520 to consider...Wink

I agree with Joe. You owe it to yourself to check out the 710 and 14205 if you haven't already. I know they don't have titanium handles and S30V blades, which seems to be the theme among your choices, but I own both and feel that they are more than adequate for anything you might throw at them.

Yep the 710 is a great knife, I realy like it also. It was a birthday present from my wife. Most of the knives I get as gifts dont get alot of use. But the 710 is not one I am selling. 95% of the knives I own are benchmade. I just wanted to try something new. But I would like to try a 760 LFTi but I dont like tanto blades, and it may be a little big.

I think so. It would be a hot seller esp. in a smaller EZ carry size, call it the 765 Mini-LFTi or something similar like a 765 Mini-LFTi...Wink

I'd line up for one of those!
