I have great Skirmish, but there are marks on titanium slabs - not scratches - it is visible only on certain angle of viewing.
Is it possible to wipe it out "At home" ? I've tried gum eraser but with no visible success.
Thank you.

Beadblasted TI will show scuffs. It's just a nature of the beast. The best thing you can do is use the knife a lot so it becomes even. It's a better look IMO anyway.

Nothing is more upsetting on the Skirmish than that first scuff nark - unless it's the first bright spot on the edge or scratch. Fear not, as a user, they are marks of use - badge's of courage. Now, if you want to 'look at it', mount it under glass - at a distance, no one will note that scuff. Better yet, use it... you'll celebrate it's next boo-boo!

I still love my Skirmish and mini - imperfections included. Mostly, I love to use them!

That what that knifemaker told me too. He makes only Titanium Knives, and he said the best way is to carry it a lot, the the "wear" looks universal, and more like its intentional

Know anybody that owns a bead blasting cabinet? Should be able to throw those Titanium slabs into the blast cabinet and have them blasted which should make it look new again. FYI when useing a blast cabinet the Fine garnet powder will make the Titanium a dark gray, glass will give a lighter gray appearance..
