That's the bad side of Ti. compared to regular SS.it scratches easier.I found this out sometime ago collecting watches, because i have several more watches with Ti. cases..I am not sure it will help your knife, but what i use on my watches with really fine scratches.Do a google search on fiberglass pens. They are cheap enough, and do help with fine scratches..

Agreed, nothing to really do about Ti scuffs and scratches...you can try various products or send the knife off to be re-blasted.

OR you can do what me and others have done, learn to live with the knife and just know that's what Ti tends to do.

As an alternative, and lately, I've begun to look for users in my knives, esp. if I have the model NIB for investment/selling/trading purposes.

That way you can just put the thing in your pocket and go cut something with it without any worry or concern.

I had a 1997 small Seb return recently from some work that involved machine work on one side of the handles so they had to "refinish" (re-blast) it. It looks like new - but I would have preferred to keep the worn look! Big Grin

I should have worded my post a lil better, that question was actually geared towards the original poster of this thread. I appreciate the gesture but I have access to a blast cabinet. I believe the OP of this thread (Martin) was curious as to how to refinish his Skirmish.. Thanks for the offer though.

Blasting will just scratch up again, if it bothers you that much have someone stomewash it and you will be happy.
