If it were only that easy .....most folks that see my knife will say , how much did that cost you ......???
If I tell them they almost have a heart attack , HOW MUCH!!....... they tell me that they can get a knife at OSH for 20 to 30 dollars ...... most folks wont pay that much for a knife , cheaper the better. Granted that there are thousands of knife nuts out there , but I think BM looks at what they can sell the most of to the average Joe.
Then again , Iam like Sabu , Iam not the smartest man on the planet Big Grin
I think cost is a big factor ........

DJ I'm sure you are right, but then with so many guys clamoring for this stuff you would think they could sell a couple thousand units or a thousand of each model. I mean thats another couple hundred grand to BM's bottom line right? Anyway...it's fun to argue these things but hey what do we know? I'm pretty sure we will all find Benchmades to buy next year no matter what they release! LOL Wink

When you progress to near "state of the art" in almost any field it gets lonely. Nobody understands why you need certain features that they can somewhat approximate for very little expenditure. As an example, they might not understand a person buying a blu-ray player when a DVD player does just about the same thing. They don't understand you buying a $400 "hand lapped match grade barrel" for your rifle so it will shoot sub-quarter inch groups, when the rifle they bought for $150 will shoot nice 2" groups all day long. The same ideas work for any hobby whether it's photography, hot rods, motorcycles, guns, archery. Pretty much anything.

OK I'll shut up now. Roll Eyes
