Hello, wanted to shout out about how impressed I am with the new Benchmade version of the mini Pocket Rocket. I think this knife is not only an important milestone for Mr. Sibert, but also for Benchmade and production knives in general. In the hundreds of knives I've owned, this is by far the most impressive rendition of a custom I have ever seen. Having owned several custom PR's in the past, I am quite familiar with the real thing, and this is as close as you'll ever get without owning the real thing. Functionally it is everything the custom is... fit and finish set a new standard in this price point which I am still finding hard to fathom. I picked up mine locally for $169!!! it's worth every bit of the $235 retail and more. This is also my top choice in it's category across all brands and within the Benchmade label. I really can't say enough about it. If you're looking for one single aspect of this knife that has singularly raised the custom to production bar... just look at the pocket clip. NEVER have I seen a company so faithfully tackle a feature that could have so easily been, and often is, a corner to cut cost. When I look at, hold and use this knife... I know I am using an uncompromised Pocket Rocket. It will undoubtedly be a success. Congrats Shane and BM! My new EDC.

It doesn't seem to matter which posting I'd insert this in: does anyone remember as much press and buzz about a knife as this 755 is causing? From the back page of that Blade mag where Shane's MPR was first announced many months back it's drawing comments good and bad from all corners of the knife world. Having handled Siu's it is a terrific knife and worth the cash, clip drawbacks or not. Shane should be proud of himself, it's worth the buzz. 350, 520, 525, 525BK-1101, 530, 580-1102, 580 Proto, 583-1, 585-1, 710-1, 710-2, 710D2, 710HS, 722, 732, 740, 740 Proto, 741, 745, 746, 746-1201, 750, 790, 800, 800HS, 805-1101, 812, 830, 831, 835HS, 840, 845, 890, 905, 907D2, 910, 910SCG, 912D2, 913D2, 12400 Proto, 12410, 14205, 14210, 40022-100. Love the MPR, got to handle one locally but they wanted retail. That's a great price for a local store! _____________________________________________________ 201-91, 551H2O, 610BK, 705BC1CF Forum, 705, 10115
