I Just received this Large Ritter in on a trade from my boy the TheBlueram (thanks buddy) and this is my first grip and I have to say I have been missing out! After opening the brown box and holding the Ritter the first thing that stuck out was the Stonewash finish, absolutely beautiful in fact I think a stonewash finish is the best looking finish for a knife and makes a great user because it hides wear very well. I love the feel of the Ritter and the blade shape. I wish Benchmade would offer the stonewash finish on more of their production knives I think they would sell like hot cakes... So far the only thing I have cut with it so far is a apple but its cutting ability so far is very nice. I don’t know what to make of the thumb studs they kinda look like Gold Class Grip Studs and all the other pictures I have seen of the production Ritters all have the standard Stainless Grip thumb studs. Confused I see my new Ritter getting a lot of pocket time in the near future. These are just my first initial impressions of the knife and plan to update this review down the rd as I see myself carrying this new Ritter a lot in the near future.. Now to find me a pair of Wilkins Grips. Cool

Thanks Joe and Pascal for the compliments the Ritter Grip is really a sweet folder, another thing I forgot to mention about what I love about the Ritter is the Jimping, much better than my 721, the very Ergonomic handles+ The Ritter style jimping allows excellent purchase of the knife.

Yer welcome. I passed on that deal, just can't get along with the handles on the Grips. Owned and sold three of 'em. Lesson learned the fourth time maybe. Good trade that 705 for the Ritter in any case. It's that blade that really makes your knife what it is.

Very Nice holo07! I would love to pick up a ritter mini grip but I am still ATL for some Wilkins Grips for my large grip first.
