How about a 707 with all G10 scales (get rid of the aluminum) like the 705, and D2 steel to match the 710. Also move the clip to the end of the handle for deeper carry (see John W's post above - good one Mr. W!)

Also,
Bring back a 960-601 as regular production with S30V and titanium handles machined similar to the 790 (just one row of dots) and nice shiney split arrow clip Big Grin

Both would be nice, Please and Thank You.

I am begging for a mini-AFCK with an axis lock and D2 steel.I am not sure if anyone posted this change, but it's my dream knife, since i don't care for the large size of the 80X's series knives.

My brother in arms... errr... knives! I already stated my desire for a mini-AFCK with Axis lock, but it doesn't hurt to have more folks jump on.

An Axis mini-AFCK with satin D2 or s30v PE just might be the end-all of knives for me. Even better if it came with satin finish M4 and grippy CF scales (like the Spyderco Gayle Bradley C134CFP). Or blackened Aluminum scales with Bocote wood inserts, or black/green G10 like the Bone Collectors, or...

I like this idea, I have never been a fan of the G-10 inlays over aluminum

I too would like a mini-AFCK with M4 or M390 steel. It would have to have an Axis lock, but not be any longer. Adding the Axis lock with no other change will usually add a little length. I'd shorten the knife somewhere else to compensate.

This would be harder to get out of BKC than the issue of the M4 806, because the M4 806 didn't require a re-design. They just made the blade out of the new steel and used the old design. An axis-locked mini would have to be designed from the ground up, so I guess what I'm saying is, don't hold your breath for this one.

I'd take the 740/745 and strengthen the detent, add jimping on the blade spine, increase the texture on the scales, and make the clip reversible for tip up/down so you could have tip up if you wanted that option.

Oh, I know. It's just a pipe dream of mine. They could make the handle just a tad longer without changing any dimensions and it would work just fine as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to see a new 710 reduced in size to be more the size of a Subrosa. In other words, about 1/2" shorter than it currently is.

If you'd like to think of it the other way, make the Subrosa with a manual Axis lock, rounded & textured G-10 handles and an M390 uncoated blade.

It would be similar to an Ares in size, but would have a better handle (since it wouldn't have that bump on the bottom), better steel (better than 154CM anyway) and the superior blade shape of the Subrosa or 710. Cool
