I was just thinking...it is time for some new models with the old tear drop pocket clip.

I like those little clips, and I'd like to see 'em come back on a few--wouldn't you?

CS is making some little clips on big folders. The old Gerber covert had a small clip, the Xikar line had cool little clips, and the old Bm 690 and 332 AGR had those little tear drop clips.

I'd just like to say...do it again...more tears.

Very easy on pockets and you get a good grip on the knife.

I never owned a 690, would like to though. Always was attracted to the knife and the clip is unique, I like the look. Would have no problem seeing it on future models.

I never cared for the look, but they do seem to work quite well. I carry one two or three days a week.

I love the tear drop clip but the shape is a Allen Elishewitz design and does not collaborate with BM any longer. Frowner

I love that clip design, and Allen's used a variant on his new Hogue folders.

I think the wide teardrop clips hold better, are easier to engage and release in a pocket, and are smoother working. The narrow clips can easily bind on a seam, or even worse, on a part of the handle.
