It looks like a spoon. When it first came out, that's what we called it. the spoon clip. Many times I imagined cutting it down to some reasonable width, just never found the time. 581BK-1102 Hybrid, 585-1BK Mini Barrage, 587SBK-1 Mini Warn, Bradley Alias I LE, 581, 525/Bone Collector, 941BLU, 520BK/Bone Collector, 760Ti Krein Regrind, 583SBK-1 Warn Tanto, HK14210, 707-701, 140HS, 551-101 Gold Grip, 941BC, 950BK M4, 220, 30, 42, 32, 53

Yes, I did remove mine last week while camping and ate my stew with it--work real well as long as you do not lose the screws in the stew. My buddy in Iraq removed his and dug a fox hole with it while under heavy enemy fire near Tikrit. Purdy handy clips ya know. .............................................................................................................................. So...for you and your buddies, a good tactical knife might have a spoon pocket clip that pivots out to soup position? They could put a cool spring assist on the spoon deployment. 581BK-1102 Hybrid, 585-1BK Mini Barrage, 587SBK-1 Mini Warn, Bradley Alias I LE, 581, 525/Bone Collector, 941BLU, 520BK/Bone Collector, 760Ti Krein Regrind, 583SBK-1 Warn Tanto, HK14210, 707-701, 140HS, 551-101 Gold Grip, 941BC, 950BK M4, 220, 30, 42, 32, 53
