There are tricks to set the blade straight, but if it's hitting the liners that's more than you want to just watch, that's become a problem. If you can return it to the store you bought it from that's one alternative. For Benchmade's service, here's their number: 800-800-7427, ask for Customer Service. If you do send your knives up to get fixed, they recommend UPS over USPS for better tracking, and just mail the knife carefully wrapped. Leave the box, bag and paperwork home. 350, 520, 525BK-1101, 530, 580-1102, 580 Proto, 583-1, 585-1, 710-1, 710-2, 710D2, 710HS, 722, 732, 740, 740 Proto, 741, 745, 746, 746-1201, 750, 790, 800, 800HS, 805-1101, 810, 812, 830, 831, 835HS, 840, 845, 890, 905, 907D2, 910, 910SCG, 912D2, 913D2, 12400 Proto, 12410, 14205, 14210, 40022-100. It's been a few years since I've handled a Stryker. As I recall, the one I had was A/O with a liner lock...is that right? I would recommend too that you send it back in, but one thing that would be interesting to know is if you depress the liner lock with the blade extended, will the blade wobble side-to-side? If so, the misalignment when closed might just be from the pivot screw having worked its way loose. Like I say, I'm just working from memory and it has been a while. ********************** ********************** You are the Sum of Your Actions. Knife Rights Member | |||
