Hey everyone just an FYI...Roger has the 810 available for preorder. Good news is that he has it for less than the 275 Adamas. I am looking forward to this one as I have been a longtime fan of the 940 and 710.

I'm very excited about this knife. At that price, it will be a must buy. That is some serious value.

Pre-ordered. When it ships I guess I'll have to change the words under my name.

First let me say this...Awesome Osborne deisgn, Benchmade, Axis lock, it is an awesome folding knife, okay...

Having said that...I have never owned a 940. Think it is ugly, don't like it. It's all on me, but there it is.

I rather like the 950. I don't know why, but take that Osborne reverse tanto whatever and smoosh it down into an extreme outcry of itself, and it works. For whatever reason, the 810 to me is the 950 stretched out to almost a 940, and it doesn't appeal. God hep me, but that's how it is.

I love the 940..maybe not as much as TDOGG ..but I have quite a few. I was just thinking that BM needed to make a longer slimmer version as the Rifts I have feel just a little too squat somehow.

The Contego looks right so far...so I like the way Po said that
"the 810 to me is the 950 stretched out to almost a 940" because that's what Ive been wanting to try .

I have one on preorder, but when will they be released..Jan is almost over.

Perhaps when I get one in my hand, my eyes will forgive it. But my mind says why bother when the AFCK feels *and* looks just right. Excuse me while I go apologize to my 960.
