BM out of box sharp would be M2 Ritter; the 732D2 is pretty stinking sharp as well, along with the 710-801. Every Spyderco I've ever owned has been screaming sharp out of the box. I have a Jaegger boning knife made by Knives of Alaska. It has a cryogenically treated ATS-134 blade that is so sharp I can push cut through type paper much like you would whittle soft wood. No side to side movement required. Just push the knife through the paper. I've never seen anything like it except maybe a box cutter or a scalpal. | |||
