In my quest for some cool 94x blades, a guy sold me one of the older Ti Series 941's. I made a mistake in thinking he was sending me a 940 Ti; to my surprise, he sent me my favorite knife in titanium; the 941!! It is marked 'Prototype July 2003'. Does anyone know much about this knife? It is beautiful but I never even knew it existed! How many of these are there? I am soooo happy

At least 50 marked prototype, plus the 500 of the original Limited Edition run, plus the 500 with the 940 blade, plus the 50 or so protos of those.

Depending if it'd NIB, I think it should go for about $250-$350

Thanks guys! This is going into the carry rotation as I like it so much, I can't just display it. I was surprised to see that Benchmade was using S30V steel so early on but this only makes it an even better carry knife. It is as smooth as any custom I have ever handled. My fiance loves it...hopefully she doesn't nab it from me!
