I am a new knife guy, and bought my first Benchmade from Sport Chalet. A Barrage. I love it. I learned about 5 weeks after I had it that the blade being straight center when the knife was folded was where it was supposed to be. My Barrage damn near rubbed the edge. Sooo I ended up purchasing another ( Centered this time) and switching the boxes and returning the off one. Pain in the rear!!! My question is this...
If I purchase from the Benchmade site, will I have better Luck getting quality controlled product?
THANKS

I doubt it .......I can say that you,ll more than likely pay more there Smiler
Better off buying from a dealer (price wise)
PM me and I,ll give you the name of a great dealer. There are quite a few of them out there though.

Probably not...best option is to go to a local dealer and look at the knife yourself, next best is to go to one of the known online dealers who would be willing to check the product before shipping.

DJ's got info coming to you, that may be good enough, he moves more knives than most of us.

+1 Be happy with it before you pay for it.
