I am a new knife guy, and bought my first Benchmade from Sport Chalet. A Barrage. I love it. I learned about 5 weeks after I had it that the blade being straight center when the knife was folded was where it was supposed to be. My Barrage damn near rubbed the edge. Sooo I ended up purchasing another ( Centered this time) and switching the boxes and returning the off one. Pain in the rear!!! My question is this... If I purchase from the Benchmade site, will I have better Luck getting quality controlled product? THANKS | ||

I doubt it .......I can say that you,ll more than likely pay more there  Better off buying from a dealer (price wise) PM me and I,ll give you the name of a great dealer. Probably not...best option is to go to a local dealer and look at the knife yourself, next best is to go to one of the known online dealers who would be willing to check the product before shipping.
