I know it is silly, but stains on the blade annoy me to no end. That is why I get D2 in coated blades whenever possible. ----------------- Current President Brotherhood of the 420 & Viceroy of the Knights of the Gravitator. SPTA Founding Member. I got the knife brand new fall of 2005 from the uniform store where my department gets all our uniforms. So it is almost 3 years old so my time was off, I am sorry about that. The receipt says November 20, 2005. It was a late birthday present to myself and I used the last of my uniform allowance to get it. How they got the knife to sell is beyond me. That part of this aside, it seems to be a completely normal thing from what your responses have told me. It is a user so wear marks don't bother me all that much. I don't buy a knife to be a safe queen. I just wanted to know if this kind of mark was normal and it seems it is completely normal for D2. Thanks for all the responses. Seems a lot have the same marks so I won't worry about it. And it will help me pick my new fixed blade camp / utility knife. This message has been edited.
