Would a NIB 732BT have any collector's value?

I was going through some boxes I had packed away in a spare room looking for a book and I came across a NIB 732BT. No idea where it came from or why it was in there, but anyway.

Would it have any value over just a generic NIB Benchmade?

No, it wouldn't be worth anything. You should just mail it to me and I'll dispose of it for you...... Big Grin

Just kidding. I wish that I could find a NIB Ares in my house. I would say the model is at least worth MSRP, which is about $165. You could probably get more for it if you were to sell it though because the Ares is a highly desired design.

Chang and M2HSSR-910SBK are both right. The last several used 732BT's that I've seen on the bay have gone for around $150. I would guess a NIB one would bring more than that.

My suggestion would be to head back to the spare room and dig around some more to see what else you can turn up. Happy hunting.

Yeah, the Ares was always one of my favorites. That and the 941.

So it sounds like it carries a little premium, but not really a collector's item like the M2 versions, etc. Maybe I'll give the Sebenza a break and carry this one for a little while.

Thanks, guys!
