I don't think we'll see any satin M4 coming from BM though.

Did they ever release satin M2?

To my knowledge they didn't.
But as said in a other thread.
M2 and M4 can be some rust resistend as soon as it is polished.
The suraface has to be flat and smooth!
But I understand that BM is playing safe with the coating.
I guess for us nuts (at least some) this configuration would work.
May be BM should include some sort of a waver,
not being responsible for rust Wink Big Grin

No to hijack the thread here, but did anybody ever figure out what happened? I liked darko. The dude has some awesome slipjoints.

Back on track now, I'd like to see a mini-760. Maybe a blade around 3.25" That would be Cool

OK, Lord Jim, you made me get out the old measuring stick...I measure the 760 handle at just about 5". The blade is 3-7/8".

Taking 5/8" off the blade would get you to your 3-1/4". Also, taking the same 5/8" off the handle would still leave it at a respectable 4-3/8". Not bad, LJ.

That's kinda what I was thinking as far as why I'd never seen any M2 uncoated. It would be cool with me to have a little patina on the blade but my guess is BM won't go that route. Opens them up for too much on the second hand market and down the road me thinks. Of course, I've been very, very wrong in the past... Big Grin

A long pause..........

It will take something really special to generate anywhere near this much interest.

At this point, I really cant think of anything.

Even an M4 Ritter would take a back seat to this one.

This is one special knife......

Period.

Hats Off to BM for doing this. I was loosing faith. Faith has been restored.

S90v Please......
