Here's what Nolan said: 760BKLFTi = Lum Folding Tanto, and the T serves "double duty" for both the words Tanto and Ti. And the "i" stands for injection? (as with most European car brands)  LDFE would have been better though. Yup, I agree it doesn't make sense, but Nolan said they decided to use the T for both sides of the equation. I prefer something like '710' myself, but BM decided to honor Bob Lum with the LFTi name and I'll go with that.
