Has anyone asked Benchmade? Well I just called and talked to Nolan...

The award goes to Darko. (But I thought it did...)

Here's what Nolan said: 760BKLFTi = Lum Folding Tanto, and the T serves "double duty" for both the words Tanto and Ti.

So that's the news from the source!

Thanks for finding that out Joe. To me, that doesn't make sense. How can the (T) serve for 2 words? That's not how acronyms usually work...

Thanks Joe for contacting BM. That answers my question. This is good to know.

Yup, I agree it doesn't make sense, but Nolan said they decided to use the T for both sides of the equation.

I prefer something like '710' myself, but BM decided to honor Bob Lum with the LFTi name and I'll go with that.

Bob was one of a kind too.
