Now I don't mind the liners sticking out as I did, and despite any negatives I've given about this model, it ain't half bad.

Once again, a knife that got traded, to get traded for to get another one back...go figure

You were right about it all along Doc...!
OH MY GOSH !!!

BTW: I switched the clip too. Split arrow parkerized. I have an extra black nickel that may go back on soon. Who knows??? It's fun.

I just noticed that my original post said I would be a fan of the 93x. I meant the 73x.

Anyway…..Welcome Joe!!!

I only have a 201, 551, 610, 630, 635BK, 710, and 760BK. They were all left in the same display case this afternoon to thermally equalize, as I slummed and went back to a Buck 110 for my pocket. As the OP stated 'in production', I had to write-off the 630 & 635.

Now, using the 'touch test', there is no mistake. The 201 has wood scales - feel warm. The 551 is that plastic - feels stipled and warm - as did the 710 with it's G10 and the 610 with it's G10 and Micarta. The 760BK felt cool - that titanium, anodized or not, takes heat away effectively from your finger touch it feels coolest!

Yeah, and it looks coolest, too - this from someone who isn't fond of Tanto blades. Of course, this is a Lum Tanto - how much more real can one get?

Yeah, I need more Benchmades...

I would go with the LUM 745.It just feels so good in my hand, and it is quick for a liner lock. The second choice is 615-1..The knife just scares me looking at it. Eeker
