BM customer service has me in a quandry

I recently sent my old AFCK in for repair--the spacer was broken. I recently got it back with this note: "Please note that the handle of your knife was scratched when opened. We apologize and are providing a $xxx.oo promo code good towards the purchase of any new knife off of our website." Now bear in mind this was an OLD knife that I've carried for years--you can see a pic on pg 84 of the AFCK thread--and it shows. I probably wouldn't even have noticed the scratch. Without giving a figure, let's just say the promo code is very generous and will allow me to purchase any number of the higher end blue or black class knives at little or no out of pocket expense. So, the quandry it, which knife to buy? A couple I'm considering are the 940SBK or one of the Strykers. Thoughts on either of these two? Other recommendations?

943 or a mini-rukus. I would say that the mini-rukus handle comes real close to the AFCK handle in ergos. Also try a HK 14205 great knife for the money. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lunatics I salute thee!! http://i248.photobucket.com/al.../M2HSSR/bdd5b559.jpg Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #22

Congrats. From the title of your posting I thought BM's customer service did you wrong, instead they made you a great offer! That's really cool. I'd give another vote to the 940 and would add the 710 and 615 to that, three classics for any Benchmade fan.
