Over the the past 4-5 months, I have had 8 knives reworked by Benchmade...their customer service/repair department is great and turn-around time excellent! They definitely stand behind their knives!

I just got back two older 800S AFCKs today and they did a great job totally reworking both knives, including replacing the missing medallion in the handle of one. I asked for that particular item on the repair list on the form for that knife "if it was available" and - it was!

My hats off to Benchmade Repair!!!!!

Their LifeSharp service really is good. Just got back my Proto 910S and they did a lot more than I expected, basically rebuilt the knife.

I'm about to send my old 812 up for tuning and repair of a cracked backspacer and will ask for threaded inserts, bronze washers, and maybe barrel spacers if they don't have the original replacement.

For the few dollars spent, it gives a knife many more years of service...why buy something new if you don't have to?

Your "910S Prototype and LifeSharp." post made me think about posting this as kudos for them as well. They really do great work...and I agree - keep the knives "running" for many more years and pass them down!

Good to hear they are keeping the knives coming back sharp. I have not sent anything back in 3 years or so. When I did, they were outstanding to me.
