Whats the story behind the Blackwood logo Confused? How come some have it and others don't?

Its like that with the 615 as well, isn't it? My 615 has the logo.....

Neil Blackwood's logo was on the right side as long as he was on Benchmade's books as one of the designers. After he moved on they stopped using the logo...so if you have one with a logo on it the knife's an earlier version.

Thanks Joe..

So in other words Blackwood is not affiliated with BM at all anymore... I'm surprised they didn't just discontinue the 610/615 like they did the 630/635..

this deal had actually fallen through but the seller finally decided to go through with it for real today - i initially paypal'd the funds to him immediatly once i called "ill take it" and he didnt answer back untill a couple days later saying that he couldnt bring himself to let it go and refunded my money. well today i get an email from him again saying that he has come to terms with letting it go and that i am getting first dibs on it at the same price of $120, i said of course and its mine again - this time for sure. chalk another one up to the economy Big Grin
