I know that most of you won't be hearing this for the first time, but the Gold class presidio is probably the most beautiful knife I've ever laid eyes on.

I was going to insert the pic here, but my iPod won't copy the URL. So go and look at it. And drool. That is all.

Good answer, but there's something about the carbon fiber/Damascus combo that tickles my pickle...

I like that wood inlay, too though. I have to go +1 on not buying a knife you can't use, though, unless you have obscene amounts of disposable income (not this guy...).

The 710 is such a classic look. The brass reminds me of the buck 110 modles that my dad and every one of his 5 brothers carried as i grew up.

I would like to handle the 525-81. I'm sure the beauty could be appreciated even more when in the hand.

I heard you on that. I don't know if I could carry a knife that I don't use (you know what I mean. It can't just sit there).

My 523sbk is my favorite everything knife, and it get's used for sure.

The 525-81 is quite a good looking knife...but in terms of the gold class this one just keeps pulling me back in to clicking on it.

http://www.benchmade.com/produ...il.aspx?model=635-82

Just the right amount of gold and I just live the design of the 635-82 in general. Oh if I had the money to drop 600$ on a knife...

Unless you are a collector trying to beat this market... I say use that sucka'! What a treat to use one of the finest BM designs with some of the finest materials around. It'd be like me buying a V-10 Viper just to wipe it down with diapers on the weekends...

I say buy one and use it! Now, lots of people think that means abuse it... these are two different things in my opinion.
