I noticed the axis bar too but as this was my first experience with the AFCK, I didn't have anything to compare it to.

I can rock the bar a little bit side to side but the lockup is solid and I don't see it causing any issue.

Blade is perfectly centered. Love this knife! Big Grin

I just got mine in the mail today thanks to Andrew! #194 CE.

Normally I don't go for combo edges, but my rule of thumb is 4" or more and the useability of the edge isn't compromised by a serration.

Mine is 99.9% it has the smallest blemish on the coating, and the coating is on the tang that engages the axis bar... but it is already wearing off Wink

I love it, I can finally say that I now GET IT, this knife is the best handling knife I have ever owned. I have an 800s and this is like night and day.

Thanks to Mark and BM for this one!

+1 Cool

I didn't get it either. I figured I'd get one if I could and if I didn't like it, I'd just flip the knife....But now that I have one, I realize what a great knife it really is. It's been my EDC for a couple of weeks or so now. Big Grin

Thanks again to Mark and BKC.
