I sent three knives, (a 16710SBT, and two 805S TSEKs), for a nice sharpening and general going over.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Benchmade repair and wager that this will be the same.

I love it when my knives come back sharp and as smooth opening as new. Smiler

I received an email from Benchmade letting me know that they had arrived and that they are processing knives in 7/9 days.

I agree. They say 7/9 days but it never takes that long in my experience.

Wish I could say the same. I sent 2 knives in and were received on Jan 3. Got an email from Micah and talked to her on the phone because she had some questions and wanted to verify what I needed done. She said I should have it back in 7-9 days. I still have not heard or seen anything. I had to send out an email today to get an update. I imagine it should be back soon.
It has still been a great experience and I have pleny other knives to use along with working out of town. So its all good.

INFRNL, most likely SHOT Show had something to do with the delay in the turnaround of your knives. One of the busiest, if not the busiest, weeks in BM calendar. Nobody's fault, really. IMHO, a classic case of bad timing Smiler

My experience with Benchmade's service has gone without any problems, and this is now going on years of sending things up. They have always gone the extra mile, and the one or two times something got missed they fixed without complaint and paid for shipping both ways.

I also think it's the time of the year, I have a 710-1 up there that was mailed 1/06 and is still in the works. Just received an email from Micah saying it should go out to me this week, so I'm looking forward to it.

Did you get you knives back yet? I finally got mine yesterday. My shoki came back great, but walnut lg axis bone collector looked like it was even though they said they replaced the blade and adjusted. I fixed it myself though. I only sent it in cause the blade was to one side. I do appreciate them going over the top though. I am going to start a thread to show you/whomever what I got back on the shoki; I am really happy

Not yet, but it hasn't been 7-9 "working days" yet.

I'm glad yours came back and you are happy with the results. Smiler
