speaking of high prices, that red 940 is blowing my mind. I never would have imagined one would go for that much.

Yep... I feel the same way. And that's one of few 940's I'm missing. Could be an "insider job" though.

Im willing to bet that the youtube video on the 940 by the guy who says dude alot, is the reason for such high bidding on the red 940. First time I seen it, I said to myself that I need a red 940. Then quickly learned that wasn't gonna happen. I showed my buddy the same video and he too wanted a red one and only a red one.

At least 950 pcs of red handled 94x were made (500 941BC1RD, 50 protos of that model, 100 each of 940-RED in coated, plain, CE & PE, and 50 each of the models currently listed on ebay).
Should plenty to go around, if you ask me.

That one is out of a 50 run. I think price is somewhat justified.

His description states the following:

"Only 250 made and you will get #041 of 250"

Try posting something in the WTB forum. I did that late last year (after Rx posted those great 94x group pictures) and DJ found one for me at a local dealer in his area (941BC1 no less) at a great price. Wonderful people on this forum...
