And cheese, and celery, and onions...thin blade means less effort.

Had the blade on my Onslaught been any thicker, the whole knife would have been redonkulous for a folder. Way too heavy. Big Grin

I agree, I just want to make sure when "my friend" chops up people into little pieces so they fit in the bags easier, this thing will have no problems going through cartilage, muscle, and bones. Thats it. "My Friend" really likes big knives.

I think the Onslaught is a decent medium duty knife due to the thin blade with hole and a good replacement for the AFCK due to the great handle shape.

MMM, I'm thinking a Bushmaster with a kydex pocket clip set up would be about right.

I guess the big Ruks are pretty rare now--or I'd recommend that too.

I do not think you can go wrong with Lum. That large DeJavoo is no slouch either--that could be your swimmin' trunks knife.

Yep, I think you've found a match in the Onslaught.

You know what I'm doing about the current government situation? Teaching my kids to shoot.

I also think you'll like it. I'm a smallish guy at 5'7" 165 lbs and it carries extremely well in even my pocket, the handle is just designed that well. At your size it woudn't be a problem anyway, but it goes to show how well it was designed. As for the thin blade, yes it is on the thin side but it isn't a scalpel. You wouldn't want to use it as a pry bar or baton through huge chunks of hard wood with it, but for normal cutting it should be fine. BM does a great job heat treating their 154CM, I would expect it to take a good level of "normal" abuse. Hell, even if you do break it you can always send it back for a new blade for cheap.
