With the new year approaching, what will you be carrying to ring in the New Year?

Just to round things out, I may carry the LE 805 TSEK, that was one of the first knives of 2011...

But I have a week to give it some thought.

I'm thinking I'll pack the Alias I.

Just a note about my Christmas Eve carry: I packed the 806 (that wears the LE 805 handle) to the big family gift exchange party. There's nothing wrong with the knife, but in that setting, there are a bunch of people asking to borrow it to open taped boxes and such. My problem is that it is so big and sharp for a newbie that it was pretty scary seeing family members use it. Sure, they were adults and there were no slip-ups, but I think for next year, regardless of what my main carry is, I'll also grab a medium-sized slipjoint to loan to folks. They are used to opening them and the size is more managable for a rookie. Smiler

I carry a small Leatherman multi-tool along with my primary knife. You can loan it out, and it also has a few other tools that might come in handy. I recommend the Style CS or the Squirt Ps4.
