Blade steel ?????

I believe the primary steel KA uses for his folders is S30V and are heat treated by Paul Bos. I know he has made some models with damascus blades. BTW he makes some wicked folders and fixed blades. I would love to own one of his folders or fixed blades one day..

Back on topic, I ended up carrying my 806BK-901 today.

520A. It went with me yesterday to Elk Creek for some pheasant/quail hunting and a round of sporting clays after a sumptuios lun h. As always it carried beautifully and did a fine job of cleaning the birds.

I'll Answer for Doug. Probably S30V. They are a beast of a folder with a hella cool blade shape. Not big in the length dept. but big in the beefy dept.

I have one of these on order! Hopefully will be done soon!
