Does anyone know a good place to buy knife lanyards? I'm thinking of putting one on the new gold griptilian.

I'd suggest Googling "tying a lanyard" and make your own. A couple hours of knot tying and you'll have done something very satisfying as well as useful.

Plus, when somebody asks you where you got your lanyard, you can say "What, this old thing? Oh, I tied it myself the other day...sniff"

the Reeve lanyard is hard to beat and easy to tie with a little practice.

Some lore requires 13 loops in a noose to be considered a true "hangman's knot." I guess in executions, it's called a "noose." In lanyard tying it's a "reeve coil knot."

I learn something new here every day

www.thelanyardzone.com is a great place to get lanyards, or if you want to try your hand at it, to get pewter beads.

Tried my own lanyard per Joe's instructions. Very easy to do. Used what is basically black shoelace and two beads from my daughters necklace making kit and came up with this.
