well I just got my SPYDERCO SHARPMAKER yesterday...
see the video (DVD), going for the 710BKD2... some strokes... and DAMN!! sharp as hell.. Smiler
Extremely Sharp...

Besides that SM works incredible well
the secret maybe as Joe told me... not let the knife go dull...

+1 on that Max. I went a couple years without cleaning my rods. When I finally did, it made a HUGE difference.

Yep, if I give my SharpMaker rods a clean after each use they do a much better and faster job in the process. A little cleanser on a damp rag does the trick every time.
