well I just got my SPYDERCO SHARPMAKER yesterday... see the video (DVD), going for the 710BKD2... some strokes... and DAMN!! sharp as hell..  Extremely Sharp... +1 on that Max. I went a couple years without cleaning my rods. When I finally did, it made a HUGE difference. | ||

Yep, if I give my SharpMaker rods a clean after each use they do a much better and faster job in the process.
