they were making auto strikers in the early 90's? I assumed they came out about the same time as the 910's (1997-ish)...

According to what I've found, there's an unnumbered first production run being sold on bladehq, dated 1998... although my recollection was that I bought it before that.

I also found one for sale on the JD forum, also a first production run, but this one was numbered 23 out of 500 and there was no mention of a date....

Maybe a Stryker collector could clear it up.

Not 100%, but yea I think the auto version of the Stryker would have come out after the introduction of the 910.

Hmm, perhaps got got lucky and got hold a of pre-prod example without even realizing it... Smiler

I would buy a spear point Axis Stryker for sure! I've always liked the pattern of the knife, didn't care for the locking mechanism.

no such thing as a spearpoint Stryker, the only true Stryker is a modified Tanto... Razzer
