My first thought is a Doug Ritter RSK® Mk1. If you have one, you know why. Smiler

I will have three more thoughts before this gets posted.

My favorite Benchmade to date, the 943 fits the criteria.

Most of my favorites are more in the 4" range (AFCK, 710, TSEK), however I do really like my CPM-M4 Ritter Grip, as well as the 615 Rukus.

My 14205 fits nicely, as does the 520 and larger Barrage models.

I'm with Boobar on this one, my 942 fills the bill for "favorite".

large Axis Bone Collector (15020, I think) or 520 Presidio. If you squeeze the size just another .2", I would put the Rift at the top of that list (3.67" blade).

My favorite would be my M2 or M4 Ritters. But, you can no longer get either one of those versions for $175 or less.
But, as luck would have it, the BM520BK-1101 is still availible!
It goes for about $10.00 less than that and it's M4!!
+1
Yup, I'd definitely go with the M4!
