So I have decided it's time again to buy another new one. I have been patiently awaiting for more Subrosas to filter out and become available to hear people's views on them. Anyhow are there any lucky individuals out there who have both or have experienced either of them to give me some more insight? I have been wanting to get a Bradley for sometime but now looking at the Subrosa it has me wondering how it compares and if I should maybe wait till some more come out. I just really want to finally get a titanium Monolock and I have heard so much about the Bradley and how smooth it is. Any others that come to mind let me know.

Thanks again for your help guys/gals, appreciate it.

Personally ..... the Alias is a great knife but I dont like the blade grind of it ....other than thats its great.
Ive handled the Subrosa at the blade show and like the blade grind much better , just not the recurve , its also assisted opening , that doesnt bother me at all ......its also light and opens quick.

I would try the alias first. It is not going to be made anymore IIRC and will be hard to get.

I know a dealer with a p/e 1 & 2 in stock. PM me up if you want details.

Other than that, I have not tried either knife so I can't speak to which one you would get over the other.

Yeah I have heard some rumors that they were discontinuing the Bradley's. Any particular reasoning that you know of? Question, IIRC?? what does that stand for?

Thanks
Karl

If you have the chance to get a Alias I say get it and try it first. If you don't like it you could always sell it on here. The subrosa is very nice but it will be in production for at least a year, so you have time to save up for it.

We need a 615 LE with carbon fiber scales.
Could we also get a 630 with an axis lock?

I, too, want a 790 Subrosa - I think. Two questions:

1. Does the clip do double-duty as a framelock limiter? It looks like it in the catalog picture. I remove my clips for pocket carry, so I wonder if it will be a problem.

2. Is the designer a member of the 'Addams Family'?

It does look fairly similar to the Bradley Alias I... I'd rather have the Benchmade, of course...

Stainz

PS I am currently awaiting a K-dealer to get me a ZT-302 in stock... heresy!

I've looked at both knives and prefer the Alias models. In my book less is more and I like the simplicity of the design, mixed with a terrific design.

Why these have been discontinued is beyond me, has to be a business decision, because the knife is still a must-have for many.

I forget which site, but there's a number of these still out there and I would go for it if you can.
