Just crawled out of bed about 1 hour ago, piss on that early bird! Once the gray matter got to working I realized that my UPS Saturday Delivery could be on the front porch. And it was! In my boxer briefs I opened the door, looked right, looked left, and dashed out to retrieve it. Don't think anyone saw me as it has been an hour and no women have come to the door wanting satisfaction

So what's in the package you ask. There are 3 knife cases(7X2), 1 knife case(11X3), a 100ft bundle of black/white/blue paracord, a roll of grey paracord, the 12 piece BM tool kit, and finally, at the bottom of the box, 2 BM275BK Adamas folding knives!! I got #448-1000, and #498-1000.

Over at BF I have been reading of some folks who have gotten Axis Lock knives that have vertical, up and down, blade play in their knives. I have had at least 8 or 9 Axis Locks and I cannot remember one of them having vertical bladeplay. The two I just pulled from the box are NO exception. They are both solid as a rock. The fit/finish is spot on with both, action is slick and smooth, while blade edges are even, and very sharp. All I di was to switch out clips from my tan to the black because I had taken the foldover clip from my tan model and rebent it to have deeper pocket carry. Now the knife rides completely level with the tops of my pockets. I'll see if I can get a pic of that clip when I take and post some pics later on.

So, though we have a rainy and cold Saturday on tap, at least it started out great. And will continue because I have a custom Dozier Workhorse arriving by Express Mail in a couple hours!!

Without going into a lot of details, I received an amount of money, a week to 10 days ago, from my mom's estate. She passed away on 8/05/2011 after a long illness and Alzheimer's. She is in a better place now, much better. Anyway, I had earmarked a certain amount of this money for some "toys", and these are two of them. That Dozier is the other one.

But I just love these 275's, especially the all black one, and I'm not much for black blades!

Goodness you're collecting some good ones, and this period of time, if you could call it that...is one for the loss of loved ones it seems.

Thanks for that Joe. I had already made my peace with the fact that my mom would not be here much longer, and I KNEW that a better, happier, place awaited her. The money was nice, but I would give it all back in a second to have my mother here again.

I'm expecting Fed-ex today. Kind of feel like a prisoner in my own home at the moment (signature required).
